Our Ingredients

We take pride in creating our products with all natural ingredients to nourish your skin with the best nature can offer. Here is a list of ingredients you'll find in our skin care products and what benefits they provide.

Oils & Butters

Almond Oil - This oil works as an emollient which helps to soften and soothe irritated skin, and as a humectant which helps to hold moisture in the skin. It is known as a "dry" oil, and is readily absorbed into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling all while healing chapped, dry, flaking and itchy skin. It is also high in Vitamin E. You can find Almond oil in our  Lip Balms, Lotion bars and most of our Soaps.

Castor Oil - In addition to providing a super fluffy and stable lather for our shaving soaps, castor oil is moisturizing, keeps the skin soft, and soothes irritated and itchy skin. You can find Castor Oil in our Close Shave soap.

Cocoa Butter - Cocoa butter is an excellent skin care ingredient that provides a breathable moisture barrier on your skin and promotes skin elasticity. You can find Cocoa Butter in our Lotion Bars, Deodorants, and our chocolate scented Soaps.

Coconut Oil - A natural moisturizer high in Vitamin E that keeps skin soft and silky. We also use it in our soaps to create a fluffy lather. You can find Coconut Oil in all of our Soaps, Lotion Bars, Lip Balms and Deodorants.

Olive Oil - High in anti-oxidants, Olive Oil can help keep skin looking youthful. It is a great moisturizer, keeps dry skin soft and adds a silky feel to the lather of our soaps. You can find Olive Oil in all of our Soaps and Body Butters.

Palm Oil - The main ingredient in most of our soaps because it produces a hard bar and fluffy lather,  Palm Oil also helps to restore the skins natural oils and provide moisture to keep skin soft and supple. We source our Palm Oil from sustainable sources, and you can find Palm Oil in most our Soaps.

Shea Butter - Creates a breathable, water resistant barrier that both provides and seals in moisture. An excellent source of Vitamins A, E and F. You can find Shea Butter in our Lotion Bars, Lip Balms, Deodorants and nearly all of our Soaps.

Vitamin E Oil - A natural anti-oxidant, we use Vitamin E Oil to for it's moisturizing benefits as well as to keep our natural ingredients fresher longer. You can find Vitamin E Oil in all of our Lotion Bars, Lip Balms and Deodorants.

Essential Oils - We use a number of pure, aromatherapy-grade essential oils (and ONLY essential oils, no fragrances!) to achieve our scents - from floral and feminine, to woodsy and masculine, to citrus or mint, and everywhere in between.

Clays, Herbs & Botanicals

Bentonite Clay - Clay in soap helps to regulate skin's oil production and draw out impurities while depositing beneficial minerals onto the skin. Bentonite Clay is especially slippery, giving that special slickness in our Close Shave soap. We also use it in our Deodorants because of it's unique ability to produce an electrical charge when it combines with moisture that allows it to draw impurities and toxins away from the skin and hold them in each particle of clay until the clay is washed off.

Brazilian Red Clay - This clay is high in iron oxide and other beneficial minerals, helping to cleanse and brighten skin and regulate the skin's oil production. You can find Brazilian Red Clay in our Pink Grapefruit  and Brazilian Red Soaps.

French Green Clay - Also known as "Sea Clay", French Green Clay is quarry mined rock and minerals that include decomposed plant matter. This not only gives the clay it's wonderful, soft green color, but includes at least 9 skin loving mineral oxides: calcium, dolomite, silica, selenium, magnesium, phosphorous, copper, silicon and montmorillonite. You can find French Green Clay in our French Green Clay Soap, and in some of our striped and swirled soaps for coloring.

Oatmeal - Finely ground Oatmeal is not only anti-inflammatory it also works as an emollient to soothe skin - a great benefit in dry weather! You can find oatmeal in our Oatmeal & Honey Soap.

Herbs & Spices - We use herbs and spices like Lavender Buds, Cinnamon, Parsley, Mint, Cocoa Powder and others to add colors and interest to our soaps.

Powders, Waxes & Misc

Arrowroot Powder - Used in our natural Deodorants to absorb moisture and odors and provide a smooth and silky feel.

Baking Soda - We use baking soda in our natural Deodorants to help absorb odors.

Beeswax - An emollient that softens and soothes the skin while providing a breathable moisture barrier. We use beeswax in all of our Lip Balms, Lotion Bars and Deodorants.

Ground Walnut Shells - Provides gentle exfoliation to remove dirt, debris and dead skin cells. You can find finely ground walnut shells in most of our Scrub Soaps (except for the Coffee Scrubs).

Coffee & Grounds - We use coffee grounds as a nice scrubby exfoliant! You can find brewed coffee and coffee grounds in our Cinnamon Coffee Scrub soap.

Raw Honey - Honey is not only naturally anti-bacterial, it is also a humectant which means it absorbs and holds moisture, helping to keep your skin well hydrated throughout the day. You can find raw honey in our Oatmeal & Honey Soap.
